ZYEP Celebrates “Rooted in Healthy Traditions” After-School Program

As 2022 drew to a close, the Zuni Youth Enrichment Project celebrated the successful conclusion of its inaugural “Rooted in Healthy Traditions” After-School Program. Made possible with support from the CDC’s Tribal Practices for Wellness in Indian Country, the New Mexico Department of Health, and Native American Agriculture Fund, this dynamic program served 79 children in the Pueblo of Zuni’s elementary and middle
schools.
