Melani McCullough Memorial Education Fund

The Melani McCullough Memorial Education Fund was created to support Native American students graduating from Zuni, Ramah, and surrounding areas in northwestern New Mexico in their pursuit of postsecondary studies especially those in service-oriented professions such as healthcare, education, and social work. The Fund is dedicated to the memory of Melani McCullough, MD, who provided medical services to Zuni and Navajo community patients for thirty years at the Zuni Comprehensive Health Center in Zuni, New Mexico. In addition to her medical duties, Melani contributed to the community by assisting with Zuni Youth Enrichment Project (ZYEP) activities, treating or paying for the treatment of injured animals brought to her door, and always being ready to assist people who came to her in need.  For more information: https://www.elmorro-nm.com/mcculloughmemorialfund
